Neuroinclusive Teaching Institute (NTI)
It's time to move beyond accommodations and start building more inclusive learning environments in STEM -- classrooms where neurodiversity is valued as part of our collective creative potential, and where all students feel that they belong. It all starts with recognizing students' strengths and the ways that they can contribute to innovation in STEM by bringing their unique ways of thinking and experiencing the world to problem solving. Start your neuroinclusive teaching journey at UConn's Neuroinclusive Teaching Institute for STEM faculty.
The NTI is a four-session, online mini-course aimed at catalyzing change in STEM education, one step at a time.

- breaking down stigma and engaging in open dialogue related to neurological variations such as ADHD, autism, and dyslexia, and
- promoting the implementation of inclusive practices within STEM classrooms in order to build neuroinclusive learning environments in which all students may thrive.
